Intermediate MEP Quantity SurveyorLondon 50,000 - 70,000 + PackageWe are currently working with an established MEP contractor who are seeking an ambitious Intermediate MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in London.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who has developed a solid foundation within the mechanical and electrical sector and is now looking to broaden their commercial experience, take on greater responsibility and progress towards a Senior QS position.The PositionWorking as part of an experienced commercial team, you will be involved in the financial and contractual management of MEP projects from procurement through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Managing project costs, budgets and financial reportingProcurement and management of subcontract packagesReviewing and negotiating subcontractor quotationsPreparing and assessing valuationsManaging variations and changes to scopeMonitoring project expenditure and forecastingManaging subcontractor accounts and paymentsAssisting with the preparation and agreement of final accountsIdentifying commercial risks and opportunitiesSupporting monthly commercial reportingAttending client, subcontractor and internal commercial meetingsThe successful candidate will have previous experience within an MandE, MEP or specialist building-services contractor and a good understanding of the commercial aspects of mechanical and electrical projects.We are particularly interested in ..... full job details .....
