Contract: Part-time & Long-term roles available
Hours: Monday to Friday (part-time options available)
Pay: -100120 per day PAYE (depending on experience)

Overview:
SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with British Sign Language (BSL) qualifications to support pupils in a primary school deaf provision. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for inclusive education and the skills to support children with hearing impairments in accessing the curriculum and thriving in their learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for deaf pupils across the primary age range.
Use BSL fluently and confidently to aid communication and learning.
Assist the class teacher, Teacher of the Deaf, and SENCO with delivering differentiated lessons.
Support children''s social and emotional development, building confidence and independence.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
Requirements:
A recognised BSL qualification (minimum Level 2, ideally Level 3 or above).
Previous experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired children (essential).
Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
A patient, proactive, and flexible approach to supporting children with additional needs.
