Role: Project Manager Location: Bedford Salary: 45,000 - Depending on Experience Proactive are currently in search of a Project Manager in Bedford to start work as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial braking solutions.As Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring projects are running on track and smoothly, meeting customer requirements, staying within budget, and achieving completion by the project deadline.Responsibilities of the position: Responsible for internal and customer project kick off meetings.Evaluate when projects are required to meet customer expectations, provide support the manufacturing process and meet target delivery deadlines.Creation of project plans using Microsoft Project to track and report sales order progress to customers and internal teams.Be the point of contact for customers to communicate project status.Organise and run project meetings for strategic customer orders for new and existing products that are processed through the company.Provide documented notes/actions from project meetings and distribute to the project team, following up to ensure they are completed.Set up measurement methods and forms of recording to monitor the performance of the manufacturing processes.Facilitate postmortem events for projects (sales orders) that do not run smoothly and close out corrective actions.Work closely with other departments to keep projects running ..... full job details .....
