About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PE Teacher to join our team in Caerphilly. In this role, you will inspire students to embrace active lifestyles and achieve personal fitness goals through engaging and dynamic lessons. The ideal candidate will deliver curriculum-aligned physical education lessons that promote teamwork, resilience, and physical well-being. Your role will be pivotal in encouraging students to develop a lifelong appreciation for health, fitness, and sports.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons across all key stages, in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Encourage students to participate in various sports and fitness activities, fostering both individual and team skills.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, tailoring support to meet individual needs and enhance physical skills.
• Actively contribute to the schoolandrsquo;s extracurricular program by supporting sports clubs, competitions, and school events.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment that promotes positive attitudes toward fitness and physical health.

About You
To excel in this role, you will need to be a qualified teacher with a strong background in Physical Education and comprehensive knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales. Ideal candidates will have a passion for sports and fitness, a commitment to student development, and an ability to create an engaging and supportive learning atmosphere.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Physical Education.
• Experience teaching PE, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Strong understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and current fitness education standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to fostering teamwork, resilience, and lifelong health and fitness habits.
