Ballantine Recruitment is partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business in West Yorkshire that is continuing to invest in its operations and infrastructure.

They are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to take ownership of warehouse operations, lead a small team, and bring structure, organisation and consistency to the function.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making things work better.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, with full accountability for stock control, team performance and operational flow.

This is not a “sit behind a desk” role, you’ll be leading from the front and driving improvements where needed.

The Role

• Lead and manage a warehouse team of 6–8 staff
• Oversee goods in, goods out, and stock control
• Maintain high levels of accuracy, organisation, and efficiency
• Improve and implement warehouse systems and processes (Sage preferred)
• Ensure smooth coordination between warehouse and production

About You

• Experience in a Warehouse Manager or Supervisory role
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control
• Experience working with warehouse systems (Sage advantageous)
• A hands-on, proactive approach
• Comfortable leading teams and driving performance

• £40,000 – £45,000 + Beneifts
