My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant to join a supportive team based in central Cardiff.It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and ideally experience completing flood risk assessments or hydraulic modelling.Qualifications

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background and experience working as an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant you will join a specialist flood risk team in Cardiff and receive excellent training to complete the following;Responsibilities

Flood Risk Assessments for Planning ApplicationsFlood Estimation using ReFH and WinfapRainfall AnalysisHydrology, Hydrogeological and Environmental Chapters for EIAsHydraulic Modelling, Model Build and Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and TuflowHydrological and Hydrogeological modellingDrainage Modelling using CausewayGIS MappingDrainage Strategies and SAB ApplicationsSite visits for water monitoringBenefits
