Job Type: Housing Support Worker Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join a supported housing service in Leeds. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The service supports adults living in social housing who may be experiencing issues with drug and alcohol misuse, alongside other challenges that can affect their ability to maintain stable accommodation and live independently. The Role As a Housing Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to residents, helping them maintain their accommodation, develop independent living skills and access appropriate support services. Your responsibilities will include: Providing one-to-one support to residents within a supported housing environment Building positive, professional relationships with residents Supporting individuals experiencing drug and/or alcohol misuse Helping residents maintain their tenancy and accommodation Identifying and responding appropriately to safeguarding concerns Supporting residents to access health, welfare and specialist support services Encouraging independent living and positive lifestyle choices Helping residents work towards individual support plans and personal goals Maintaining accurate and confidential records Liaising with external agencies and support providers where required Promoting a safe, respectful and supportive ..... full job details .....
