Risk and Compliance Officer - Legal Salary: 40,000 - 45,000Based in Soho, West End50% Hybrid Role - 2 - 3 days in office A top 500 full-service law firm is looking for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join their team based in Soho. You will work to ensure the smooth running of the risk and compliance and ensure the firm meets its regulatory objectives. Looking for a proactive candidate with good knowledge of AML and CDD. The ideal Risk and Compliance Officer must have worked in the legal industry most recently for 2 years.Key Responsibilities: Assisting with regular file reviewsReviewing and analysing CDD and on occasion liaising directly with clients to obtain CDDLiaising with fee earners, secretaries and finance where necessaryConducting sanctions and adverse media checks on clients as requiredAssisting in the ongoing monitoring of high-risk clientsReviewing database when notified of sanctions updatesMaintaining risk registersAssisting with the development of training for fee earners and support staffProviding administrative support to Head of Risk and ComplianceKeeping up to date with risk and compliance changesAssisting in reviewing and updating policies and proceduresExperience Required:2 years Risk and Compliance experience within LegalExcellent understanding of AML and CDD requirementsA positive, proactive, practical and flexible approach to the roleStrong commercial awareness, and the ability to manage their workload independentlyGood understanding of IT systems - ..... full job details .....
