OverviewAs Senior Meeting and Events Planning Manager working alongside the Director of Meeting and Events Planning you will:

Based at Park Plaza Riverbank, a dynamic modern 650 bedroom hotel hosting events of up to 500 guests, you can bring your passion and personality to work and be part of this vibrant progressive team.

Responsibilities

Meticulously coordinate and plan the larger hotel events

Assist the Director of Planning in the day to day running of the department

Inject fresh new ideas to drive service standards and encourage repeat business

Take an active role in training and development of the MandE Planning team members

Engage with Senior Stakeholders on a daily basis

Pro-actively drive incremental spends on events

Communicate all event details to the hotel operational teams through the BEO in a timely and effective manner

To establish and nurture positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business

Where required, "deputise" for the Director of Meeting and Events Planning in their absence at Hotel and client meetings

Demonstrate your passion for events and excellent hospitality

With a minimum of 2 years experience as a Meetings and Events Planning Manager (or similar role) in a hotel environment
