You will play a key role in ensuring that the automated and mechanical handling systems remain safe, reliable and operational, minimising downtime and supporting the smooth running of the site. Working as part of a Multi-Skilled Engineering Team, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across a range of mechanical equipment and material-handling systems. Key Responsibilities for a Maintenance Technician Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on site equipment and machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently to minimise operational downtime. Maintain conveyors, rollers, bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, motors and associated mechanical systems. Complete inspections and preventative maintenance in accordance with agreed schedules. Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures. Identify recurring faults and recommend improvements to equipment reliability. Work closely with operations and other engineering disciplines to resolve issues. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures. Maintain accurate maintenance records and update relevant systems.
