TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Blackwood. This welcoming and inclusive school provides a supportive learning environment with a strong focus on student engagement, offering excellent facilities and a positive culture for both staff and pupils.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Cover Supervisor on a long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects at Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with secondary school students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and proactive approach
• A positive and professional attitude
