Products bought in certain quantities from certain suppliers enable the business to claim back rebates, There is nothing worryingly difficult about this process but it involves strong administration skills, really good attention to detail and a methodical approach. You must also possess good communication qualities and strong negotiating skills.The role doesn''t require anything that a really strong admin professional couldn''t normally do. You must be good with IT and spreadsheets in particular. You will use this information to provide reports to the company and on occasions you may have meetings with suppliers too. There will be deadlines to adhere to but only in relation to producing monthly or weekly reports.Rebates form an important income stream in this sector.
