We are working with a fantastic primary school in Didcot, Oxfordshire that is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join their team in September 2026. Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement
• Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement high-quality teaching practices
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers regarding pupil development
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and success
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment expectations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences
