Academics are currently looking for experienced Primary Teaching Assistants for temporary short and long-term opportunities within our partnership schools. Working across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire can be diversified, meaning that we work with an assortment of schools that have different requirements to suit.We are proud to say that here at Academics we have had a strong record of placing many of our Teaching Assistants into permanent work following a successful period of long term supply within our primary schools.Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:Supporting the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.Preparing the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.Managing behaviour and engaging learners with their own learning.Working with learners either 1-2-1 or in a small groups.
