A leading UK recycling and waste management business is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead compliance and drive a strong safety culture across its operations. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced HandS professional from recycling, waste, or another technical/industrial environment. Key responsibilities include: Leading health and safety strategy and ensuring compliance with UK legislation and industry standards Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and safety/environmental audits Developing and maintaining safe systems of work and method statements Investigating incidents and near-misses and implementing improvements Delivering HandS training, inductions, and toolbox talks Liaising with regulators and overseeing COSHH, PPE, and health surveillance Requirements: NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma preferred) 3-5 years'' experience in a HandS management role within a technical or industrial setting Strong knowledge of HandS legislation including WEEE, RIDDOR, PUWER, and COSHH Details: Full-time, permanent Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:00 (47.5 hours) Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum Benefits include pension scheme and on-site parking To find out more, please contact Adam or Scott on INDENG Planet Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
