As projects engineer for a manufacturing leader it is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative engineering solutions within a thriving and specialist industry.As Project Engineer with strong engineering knowledge and a proven track record of delivering successful projects ideally within food processing or a similar engineering environment.The RoleThis is primarily an office-based position with occasional visits to customer sites. Some UK overnight stays and possible international travel may be required. You may also oversee installations on-site and coordinate subcontractors both in the UK and overseas.As Project Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from order receipt through installation to final handover, acting as the key point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and agree project scope with customers and the sales teamDevelop and manage project schedules (Gantt charts)Produce essential project documentation including: Scope of Supply; Timing plans; PandIDs; BOMs; Preliminary layout drawingsSpecify and source components and equipmentManage project changes effectivelyCoordinate delivery, installation, and commissioning including:Customer acceptance testing (FAT/PDI)Packing, shipping, and export documentationInstallation planning, RAMS, and ..... full job details .....
