Sheet Metal Worker - AerospaceLocation: Manchester (East) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role:We are recruiting experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join a well-established aerospace and defence manufacturer at their busy Manchester (East) facility. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-tech engineering environment, producing precision components for aerospace and defence clients.This role is specifically suited to candidates with an aerospace background, or those with strong experience working with thin gauge aluminium in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:Manufacture and assemble sheet metal components to tight aerospace tolerancesRead and accurately interpret detailed engineering drawings and specificationsFollow in-house routing cards, Standard Operating Procedures, and quality standardsUse calibrated equipment correctly and in line with process requirementsCarry out key sheet metal processes including:Rubber pressingHand formingProfiling parts after formCountersinkingWheelingRollingMaintain consistently high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Essential Requirements:Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:Time-served Sheet Metal Worker with direct aerospace manufacturing experience, ORStrong sheet metal background working with thin gauge aluminium in a high-precision industry (e.g. aerospace, defence, medical, pharmaceutical)In addition, all candidates must have:Proven ability to ..... full job details .....
