Evening Shift     3:00 PM - 11:30 PM     2:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.48 - £13.50 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay
About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced and dependable Skilled Operative to join a leading manufacturing facility in Thetford, specialising in the production of high-quality cleaning products. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident in operating machinery and supporting efficient production. Both day and evening shifts are available, making this a flexible temp-to-perm opportunity with weekly pay and long-term career potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Carry out quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
- Pack, label, and palletise finished products accurately
- Report any machinery faults or production issues promptly
- Perform minor machine adjustments and support basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area
- Meet daily production targets in line with company performance goals
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Support and guide junior operatives where required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment essential
- Confident with machinery and understanding of production processes
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with shift work
