You will play a vital role in helping young people feel safe, understood, and supported in their daily lives.The Role As a Mental Health Healthcare Assistant, you will:Provide consistent emotional support and reassurance to children experiencing anxiety, distress, or behavioural challenges.Support children with autism and ADHD to manage routines, transitions, and sensory sensitivities.Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mealtimes, hygiene, and maintaining a structured routine.Implement behaviour support plans and positive behaviour strategies in line with care plans.Safely manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using PMVA techniques where necessary.Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of care provided and incidents.Promote a safe, nurturing, structured, and stimulating environment tailored to individual needs.RequirementsMinimum 6 months UK experience working as a Healthcare AssistantExperience supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviour.Enhanced DBS (or ..... full job details .....
