To support the mobilisation and operation of this important service, we are seeking an experienced Licensing Officer (Case Review) to join the retained Council team. This role will focus on reviewing and assuring residential property licence applications and cases processed by the Council''s delivery partner, ensuring all applications are complete, appropriately evidenced and ready for statutory determination. Key ResponsibilitiesReview licence applications and recommendations submitted by the delivery partner.Assess supporting information, documentation and evidence to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.Review applicant, proposed licence holder and property details to support statutory licensing decisions.Consider fit and proper person information and other relevant licensing criteria.Identify incomplete, inconsistent or complex cases and return or escalate them as required.Review cases requiring additional information, clarification or investigation.Prepare cases for licence determination and support the issuing of draft and final ..... full job details .....
