Production Operative
Temp to Perm | Full Training Provided
 
Pickles Recruitment is currently looking for Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business on a temp-to-perm basis.
 
This is a great opportunity for reliable, hardworking people who are looking for a genuine long-term position within a busy and supportive production environment.
Previous manufacturing or production experience would be an advantage, but it isn''t essential as full training will be provided.
 
The Role
As a Production Operative, you''ll work as part of an established production team and receive full training to operate specialist production equipment safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating production machinery following full training
• Following Standard Operating Procedures and site instructions
• Monitoring the production process
• Checking finished products for quality and accuracy
• Identifying and reporting any quality concerns
• Ensuring work is completed to the required standards
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets
• Carrying out general production and housekeeping duties as required

Shift Pattern
The main roles operate on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
Week 1
Monday to Friday
6:00am - 2:00pm
Week 2
Monday to Thursday
2:00pm - 10:00pm
Friday
12:00pm - 6:00pm
There may also be opportunities to work a day shift:
Monday to Thursday
8:00am - 4:00pm
Friday
8:00am - 3:00pm
Candidates applying for the rotating shift positions must be able to work both the early and late shift patterns.
