This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to become part of a busy production team within a growing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality MIG welding and fabrication work on a variety of steel components. You will be expected to work from engineering drawings, ensuring all products are manufactured accurately and meet the required quality standards. Working both independently and as part of a team, you will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency while adhering to strict health and safety procedures. Key Responsibilities As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding mild steel and other materials in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications. The role involves preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding and cleaning components before assembly, producing accurate and consistent welds, and inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. You will safely operate welding equipment, fabrication machinery and hand tools while carrying out routine equipment checks and maintaining a clean, organised working environment.
