Assistant Site Manager
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025
Pay: £240 – £250 per day

ARC Group are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a project in Aylesbury, overseeing the construction of commercial and retail units. This role is initially holiday cover for a couple of weeks, however there is potential for further work on upcoming projects with the same contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Site Manager with daily site operations
• Supervise trades and subcontractors on site
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times
• Support programme delivery to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain quality and site standards throughout the build
• Liaise with project team and subcontractors effectively

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager role (or similar)
• Background in managing the cladding, roofing and steel erection element of previous projects, would be advantageous due to stage of build.
• Good knowledge of commercial build projects
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS card
• First Aid at Work
