About this position: We are currently recruiting for Robot Service Engineers to support a cutting-edge robotics environment, working with advanced robotic systems within a highly innovative technology setting. The role will be working on either a morning or evening shift, with a total working week of 37.5 hours. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Robotics or Mechatronics Engineer to work hands-on with complex robotic technology while supporting the reliability and performance of the systems. Job Responsibilities: Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance of robotic systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software and system-level faults. Support the integration, testing and commissioning of robotic systems. Troubleshoot robotics hardware, sensors, actuators and associated control systems. Work with Linux-based systems and troubleshoot network/connectivity issues. Configure and troubleshoot IP addresses, network connections and communications. Develop, modify and troubleshoot software used within robotic systems. Work with ROS and Python for robotics development and troubleshooting. Analyse system logs and technical data to identify and resolve faults. Carry out preventative maintenance and contribute to improving system reliability. Document technical issues, repairs and system changes. Collaborate with engineering and software teams to resolve complex technical issues.
