You will report to and support the Finance Manager and work within a friendly, hard working finance team. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the production of month end accounts, year-end accounts and preparation for external auditProduce and develop monthly departmental budget statements and financial reportsMaintain and monitor detailed daily cashflow forecastsAssist with payroll costingsJournal preparationBalance sheet reconciliationsSupport administration and development of finance systems and contract registersManage external funding administration, including claims, evidence and contract interpretationMaintain fixed asset registerAccruals and prepaymentsOversee staff expenses and mileage processesContribute to budget setting, financial planning and performance meetingsSupport internal audit processes and ensure compliance with financial policies and proceduresAssist with purchase order processes and wider finance team supportCandidate RequirementsExperience working in a finance environment with exposure to month-end processesStrong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levelsConfident user of finance systems and Microsoft packagesPart-qualified or working towards a recognised Level 4+ finance qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA) preferred.Positive, ..... full job details .....
