About the role: The candidate will work within our toolroom department operating our CNC controlled lathes and 2 mills to generate components required for tooling or directly by our customers Most components are designed in-house and will require the successful candidate to use the 3D model to generate the machining code within Inventor CAM software, which feeds directly into the machines. You will also, in collaboration with our design department, aid the design of any fixturing or jigs that may be required to allow machining of the components Essential Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience within machining environment Have experience of Heidenhain controllers Produce small, complex batches of components to high quality standards Experience of working from engineering drawings Ability to work within a team to ensure deadlines are met Desirable Skills: Be familiar with LEAN/5S Principles Have experience in Inventor CAM or similar software Experience of design and ..... full job details .....
