We''re recruiting for a Transport Coordinator to join an established environmental and recycling operation with multiple sites across the Nottingham / East Midlands. This is a hands on transport office role in Nottingham where you''ll play an important part in keeping the daily operation running smoothly coordinating vehicles, drivers, maintenance and collections while working closely with the Transport Manager. The Role You''ll be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the transport operation, helping ensure vehicles, drivers and collections are managed efficiently and in line with operational and compliance requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating daily transport activities and vehicle movements in Nottingham. Supporting the planning and scheduling of HGV and articulated vehicle collections. Liaising with drivers to communicate schedules, changes and operational requirements. Monitoring vehicle availability and helping ensure vehicles are available when required. Liaising with recycling centres, transfer stations, customers and internal teams. Monitoring outstanding work and following up where required.
