Job Description
A client of ours in the Witham, Essex area is recruiting a Factory Operative to join their team. This is an ongoing full-time temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm with an early finish every Friday, and paying £12.71 per hour.
Your key duties in this Factory Operative role will include but are not limited to:
- Packing finished products ready for dispatch
- Carrying out basic assembly work
- Operating production machinery following training
- Labelling products and preparing orders
- Completing basic quality checks
- Keeping the work area clean and organised
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Previous factory, production, warehouse or packing experience is preferred but not essential
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions and health and safety procedures
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Good teamwork skills
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 4:30pm, with an early finish every Friday
