Role: Field Service Engineer (Metrology)
Location:-Derbyshire
Shifts:-Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm / Friday 8am - 3:30pm
Starting Salary:30,000 - -40,000 (Depending on experience)
Annual Earnings:41,750 - -55,000 p/a-
Overtime: 10hrs per week (Average)

The Role: Field Service Engineer

• Home based, customer facing field service engineer.
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance and services.
• Decommission, move and re-commision of CMMs.
• Retrofitting and re-build of CMMs
• Upgrade and installation of CMM software and hardware.
• Verification and calibration of CMMs.

Entry Requirements:

• City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ideally-gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
• 5 Years of experience as a Field Service Engineer, ideally within Metrology, CMMs or Dimensional Measurement.
• Electrical and Mechanical skills required with a competency in fault finding and-repairing machinery.-
