EHS Specialist

Duration: 12-18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: -50,000

Location: Coventry

We are seeking a dedicated EHS Specialist to support the ongoing development and implementation of safety and environmental programmes at a busy site within the manufacturing sector. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with legislation and ISO standards while fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Health, Safety, and Environmental management system, including ISO14001/45001 accreditation
• Ensure the business remains compliant with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation
• Develop, implement, and update Health & Safety and Environmental procedures, manuals, and safe systems of work
• Support incident investigations, risk assessments, and audits to drive continuous improvement

Skills and Qualifications:

• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification in health, safety, and environmental management
• Proven experience in managing ISO 14001/45001 systems and legal compliance
• Strong knowledge of EHS directives and safety management in an engineering or manufacturing setting
