Our client is a well-established and well-respected freight packing and forwarding company based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager due to early retirement.Responsibilities

You will have previous manufacturing or engineering experience to apply with a proven ability to develop effective business strategies, generate sales, handling budgetary control. You will an effective communicator and commercially astute. You will make sound business decisions, inspire and motivate colleagues, and ideally possess a strong understanding of relevant markets.A visible and active leader across all areas of the business, with excellent interpersonal skills, strong leadership and a passion for excellent quality customer service, are also highly regarded skills for this role.Package and Benefits
