CAD Technician (AutoCAD)

We are recruiting for a CAD Technician with AutoCAD experience to join a busy and growing design company near Colchester.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in 2D CAD drawings and space planning, looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment with long-term progression opportunities.

• Produce 2D existing and proposed space plans using AutoCAD
• Create detailed design packs and technical drawings
• Support Senior and Lead Planners/Designers on projects
• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and documentation
• Assist with general administrative tasks related to design projects

• Proven experience using AutoCAD (2D drawings essential)
• Previous experience in a similar CAD or design role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Adobe Creative Suite experience (desirable but not essential)
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
• Must have own transport due to location

• -25,000 - -30,000 per year depending on experience
• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm and Friday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
