Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge departmental business needs and technical delivery for a Generative AI platform for a UK government department.This role involves eliciting and translating complex requirements - spanning Legacy systems, multi-cloud integration, and Responsible AI constraints - into clear, actionable specifications that engineering, product, and policy teams can build against. Key Responsibilities Requirements Elicitation and AnalysisWork with departmental stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements for RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and their integration with Legacy and multi-cloud systems. Process Mapping and Gap Analysis Map current ("as-is") business processes and design future ("to-be") processes that reflect how AI-assisted workflows will change how internal government users complete their tasks, identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies along the way.Translating Requirements into Delivery ArtefactsConvert business and user requirements into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and process/data flow diagrams that Product, Engineering, and UX teams can act on directly.
