HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB

Location: Rodley, Leeds LS13 and Thornbury, Bradford BD3

Salary:  £15.50 per hour (£40 for each overnight stay)

Vacancy Type: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Guaranteed 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with regular overtime

Start times: Typically between 2:00am and 6:00am; occasional overnight stays

About the Role

This is a nationwide delivery role for an experienced Class 2 driver who takes pride in working safely, representing the business professionally and providing good customer service. You will deliver quality garden buildings rather than completing high-volume parcel rounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver flat-pack cabins, shed panels and garden buildings to homes, businesses and trade customers across the UK
• Move timber and products between Woodlands sites
• Load and unload products safely, including handballing shed panels
• Secure loads correctly using straps, ratchets and ropes
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and communicate delays
• Support the loading team when required and represent Woodlands professionally at every delivery

What We Are Looking For

• Class 2 Category C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Current HIAB licence, which is essential for this vacancy
• At least one year of experience completing nationwide deliveries
• A good understanding of load security and safe working practices
• A reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
• Physical capability to assist with unloading products safely
