Managing a team of 4 AP professionals, you will oversee the end-to-end accounts payable function, ensuring accurate processing, timely payments, strong supplier relationships, and continuous process improvement.Job Spec:Manage, develop and motivate a small Accounts Payable team.Allocate workloads and ensure service levels are achieved.Provide coaching, training and performance management to team members.Oversee the timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, expenses and payment runsEnsure all payments are made in accordance with agreed terms and company policies.Monitor aged creditor balances and ensure outstanding items are investigated and resolved.Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.Maintain bank reconciliations and post journals for cash and loan movements.Raise occasional manual invoices to third parties and intercompany partners.Identify opportunities to streamline and standardise accounts payable processes.Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, accuracy and automation.Work closely with Procurement, Operations and other Finance teams to improve end-to-end processes.Support the implementation of new systems, tools and best practices.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure service delivery and process effectiveness. ..... full job details .....
