SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) to work with an Alternative Provision based in Liverpool, supporting learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our client, a well-established educational institution in Merseyside, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team on a full-time basis. As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of young people who require additional support and guidance. Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth, resilience, and academic success. Your primary responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small group support to learners, adapting learning materials to suit individual needs, and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
