We are looking for a
Senior
Consultant, Health Economist , to join our team in London, UK on a Hybrid basis.You will produce, develop and deliver a range of economic models and analyses which communicate the costs, benefits and value of healthcare interventions to support our clients in the pharmaceutical, diagnostic and medical device space.About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments
Relevant post-graduate qualification e.g., MSc / PhD in Health Economics preferred or a significant level of consultancy experience7 years’ experience in a modelling role within a consulting agency or academic institutionKnowledge and practical application of all relevant methods of economic evaluation7 years’ experience of developing models to support economic strategiesHigh level of competency in Excel VBA and modelling skills are essentialExcellent written EnglishIt Would Be Great If You Also Had...
Competency in conducting statistical analyses in R, Stata or other relevant software/platforms would be an advantageFirst-class communication skills with the ability to engage with clients in issues relating to projects in areas of responsibilityTime management skills, including the ability to manage own time to meet deadlinesA good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry would be an advantageWhat will you be doing in this role?
To provide technical health economic expertise and input into projectsTo provide thought leadership within the health economics spaceTo support and manage internal initiatives and help drive growth of the Health Economics teamTo devise and develop robust and compelling economic models in Excel (and where needed, other platforms).To provide support in conducting validation and quality control support on health economics and wider projects.To provide health economic input into and support development of payer communication toolsTo support development of health technology and assessment (HTA) dossiers, abstracts, posters and publicationsTo liaise with clients providing expertise and explaining methods and approachesMentor, develop and coach less experienced members of staff within the teamAbout The Team
