The Opportunity

This role is ideal for an engineer with a solid foundation in electrical building services design who is looking to take the next step in their career.

You''ll work closely with senior engineers and project leaders, taking increasing responsibility for project delivery while developing both your technical and client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of electrical building services designs from concept through to completion
• Produce calculations, reports, specifications, and technical drawings
• Design electrical systems including power, lighting, small power, fire alarms, and life safety systems
• Coordinate designs with mechanical engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders
• Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions
• Support project delivery across multiple sectors and project stages
• Develop your technical expertise with guidance from senior engineers and directors

What We''re Looking For

• Experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment
• Understanding of power distribution, lighting design, and relevant UK regulations
• Experience using industry-standard design software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude and desire to continue developing technically
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Working towards professional accreditation or chartership would be advantageous
