Job DescriptionEngine Environmental Protection RandT ManagerFull TimeDerbyWhat you will be doing:We have an exciting opportunity for a Engine Environmental Protection RandT Managerto join our team in Derby.The RandT management role sits within the Engine Environmental Protection (EEP) team, which forms part of the Systems Engineering and Product Performance organisation (SEPP).The role is heavily focussed on the programme management of research and technology / capability work packages owned by EEP. The complex nature of the EEP capability provides the additional opportunity for the successful applicant to learn on one or a number of EEP subject areas and therefore offers applicants simultaneous development in both technical and programme management areas.The technical role encompasses a wide range of activites ranging from development of product design models from engineering first principles, 1D thermodynamic simulation, empirical modelling, detailed 3D CFD assessment, understanding of certification requirements, business risk assessments and physical testing.
