Are you passionate about supporting young people to grow in confidence, discover their interests, and take meaningful steps toward their future?Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting Mentors in Dorchester to work with learners from Key Stage 3 up to Post-16. This is a creative and fulfilling role where you''ll build strong, trusting relationships and help young people engage in activities that inspire them-whether personal, educational, or career-focused.As a Mentor, you will:Support young people to build confidence, develop life skills, and explore their interests.Plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions that motivate and empower learners.Help learners set and work towards goals for their personal, academic, or professional development.Foster positive relationships and act as a consistent, reliable role model.About you:Experience working with young people in any capacity (education, youth work, coaching, etc.)A creative, empathetic, and proactive approach to mentoringStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young peoplePosition -MentorContract or position start date - ASAPContract or position end date (if applicable) - N/AFull time/part-time - Part TimeHours - VariousEssential and Desirable Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young peopleTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:Hold right to work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate ..... full job details .....
