Opticore IT is currently searching for a

System Engineering Delivery Lead

to drive all programmes within our client''s systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team. You\''ll join our excellent team, based in the London area, on an initial 6-month contract, inside IR35, with scope to extend. Requiring 2 days a week in our client\''s HQ in the Central London area.Opticore IT is a specialist Network Engineering and Project Management consultancy offering a wide variety of opportunities to work within fast-paced, challenging environments across our client base spanning multiple sectors including Finance, Broadcast Media, Telecommunications and more.Responsibilities

Drive all programmes within our systems engineering team which support our datacentres, compute, hypervisor, O/S and storage team.Programmes include modernisation initiatives, EOL / EOS remediation and capacity expansions and cloud migrationsDrive multiple teams in multiple geographies and ensure projects are delivered to time and on budget.What you\''ll bring

Has strong experience managing systems engineering projects (see above for specific technologies)Preferably has come from a technical background in any of the above technologies.Has strong experience driving teams across multiple geographies with resources with competing prioritiesIs able to communicate and manage risks effectively.About Opticore IT
