All of our graduates get early opportunities to work directly with clients and receive training to develop technical, communication and problem-solving skills.As a Trainee Consultant working across our Actuarial and Employer Consulting teams, you can be involved in:A variety of actuarial services to defined benefit pension schemesActuarial calculationsProcessing and validating data for actuarial valuationsWorking with consultants to assess client objectives and requirementsPreparing draft client reports and adviceAttending client meetings and taking an active role in presentations2) Supporting our corporate team on a wide range of areas.3) Opportunities to be involved in building up our capabilities in other exciting areas of the firm.Our trainee consultants develop a broad, transferable skillset covering technical and consulting matters. You will have opportunities to work on a wide range of projects and to develop your softer skills. Alongside on-the-job training, you will have full study support including study leave, financial support, and a study mentor – we want you to succeed with us!We would love to hear from you if you have:Current graduate vacancies require a minimum 2:1 degree, A at A-Level or Higher Maths and Level 6 at GCSE English Language or B at Scottish National 5 (or other equivalent qualifications).
