Role Summary

As the

Technical Product Manager , you will be technically strong and product-minded, leading the development and evolution of our

Azure Cloud Platform . You will define and deliver platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and efficient cloud adoption across LSEG. You will join the Cloud Productivity and Engineering (CPE) team as a Technical Product Manager (Azure) to build, develop, and support our Azure cloud platform as a product to accelerate time-to-market for innovative finance products, in collaboration with Microsoft. You will work with strategic LSEG application teams throughout their adoption, providing a white-glove engineering capability for our business customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead in designing, developing, and building complex cloud services and capabilities.Help define and implement the strategic roadmap based on customer insights and emerging technologies and ways of working.Lead architects, developers, and other engineers to ensure an efficient, secure evergreen Azure platform.Own key decision areas across the product portfolio, including code constructs, integration to downstream dependencies, networking, security, operational resiliency (including business continuity and disaster recovery), and governance.Collaborate with platform engineers, architects, and application teams to shape the Azure platform as a product, focusing on developer experience, automation, governance, and operational resilience; apply modern product management principles to deliver measurable business value and accelerate time-to-market within regulated financial services.

What You’ll Be Doing

Platform Ownership:

Own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for the Azure Cloud Platform and its core capabilities.Capability Development:

Define and deliver new platform features across networking, IAM, policy enforcement, automation, and compliance tooling.Strategic Roadmapping:

Shape the long-term platform strategy with engineering leadership based on customer insights and enterprise needs.Customer Onboarding and Experience:

Partner with application teams to provide a white-glove onboarding experience for smooth adoption of platform services.Product Metrics and Outcomes:

Define and track metrics such as platform adoption, provisioning speed, policy compliance, and developer satisfaction.Modern Product Practices:

Apply lean product principles, hypothesis-driven development, and outcome-based planning to prioritise work.Developer Enablement:

Champion internal developer platform principles, enabling self-service infrastructure and golden paths for teams.Security and Compliance:

Ensure platform capabilities meet regulatory and security requirements through IAM integration, policy-as-code, and audit tooling.Documentation and Enablement:

Lead the creation of clear, consumable documentation and onboarding materials to support platform adoption.

What You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience in product management, platform engineering, or cloud architecture roles.Deep understanding of Azure services, enterprise landing zones, and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep), CI/CD tooling, and cloud governance.Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical solutions and influence architectural decisions.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail into business value.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Azure.Exposure to developer experience tooling and platform-as-a-product thinking.Understanding of financial services or regulated environments.Experience with OKRs, product analytics, and value stream mapping.Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-900) are highly desirable.Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, SAFe, AIPMM) are a plus.
