This fixed term opportunity will support the provision of a 7-day clinical pharmacy service to several cardiac specialities, cardiology, cardiothoracic, GUCH, pre-admission clinics and primary care work. You will work with medical and nursing staff on medicines management matters to optimise medicines use within the trust for patients with cardiovascular disease.Support lead pharmacist for cardiovascular services in providing responsible, safe and cost-effective prescribing within the networksOptimise patient outcomesMinimise adverse reactionsImprove medicines safetyLead on delivering Medicines Optimisation and Governance Strategy across the Trust through leadership of clinical staff and publication/implementation of guidelines and proceduresAbout Barts Health
