Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help us develop the future of our customer-facing investment experiences. You will be joining a cross functional development team which has a philosophy of continuous improvement, and a strong focus on engineering excellence.We are a growing team focused on providing our customers with innovative web and app based tools and services to help them grow as investors no matter what their experience, and we are on the lookout for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can lead us in the adoption of cutting edge technologies, as well as providing a robust experience in production.Responsibilities
Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement and building a high-performance engineering teamGuide and mentor the team to design and deliver high quality productsConsider architectural and non-functional requirements and work with the team to break down and refine these into development tasksFoster a build it, run it, own it DevOps mentality, nurturing code from idea all the way to productionSignificant commercial experience developing services and APIs with some of the following; Node, PHP, .NET core, MongoDB and/or SQL.Strong technical background in web development with React/NextJS/NestJs.Experience in developing HTTP-based APIs and implementation of RESTful services with JSON, as well as with GraphQLThorough understanding of CI/CD pipelinesPractices Test Driven Development and is comfortable with various test frameworks and concepts.Familiarisation with containerisation and tools like Docker, ECS or KubernetesExperience of developing, deploying, and maintaining Cloud-Based solutions on AWSUnderstand the principles behind what makes a high performing web pageExperience of Drupal CMS would be a bonusProven experience working with stakeholders from product management and other business areas to design and deliver a solutionStrong communication skills, written and verbalVery motivated with high levels of drive and enthusiasmExperience of working in financial services or a regulated industry would be a bonusQualifications
