About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and reliable MIG Welder / Fabricator on behalf of our client to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for MIG welding components, carrying out general fabrication work, and ensuring all products are manufactured to the required quality standards.Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be expected to read engineering drawings, prepare materials, and complete welding and fabrication tasks safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesMIG weld steel components to specification and quality standardsPerform general fabrication and assembly workInterpret and work from engineering drawings and technical instructionsPrepare, measure, cut and assemble materials as requiredInspect completed work to ensure accuracy and qualityMaintain welding equipment and work areas in a safe and tidy conditionFollow all Health and Safety procedures and company policiesWork effectively as part of a production team to meet manufacturing deadlinesSkills and Experience RequiredEssentialPrevious experience in MIG welding within a manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience with fabrication and metal assembly workGood attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong awareness of health and safety practicesDesirableRecognised qualification in MIG Welding Previous experience in fabrication of industrial or engineering ..... full job details .....
