April 3, 2025Are you an experienced refurbishment / fit-out Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in 2025?Fawkes And Reece have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and award-winning main contractor based in Doncaster.This role will be based at my client''s Doncaster office but will require regional travel to visit our current projects, meet with clients, and attend meetings. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on high-end and bespoke fit-out projects across hospitality (bars and restaurants), commercial, offices, retail, and leisure with values up to £10m+.You will be joining a close-knit commercial team reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, overseeing a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistants with hybrid working available.Duties for a Senior Quantity Surveyor:

To be involved in the negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials, and plant as required in compliance with company procedure.To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out.To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing are met at all times.To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. This includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments, and agreeing subcontract final accounts.Requirements for a Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Relevant Degree or Qualification.Experience of managing multiple projects.Proven experience of developing client relationships.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent planning, organizing, prioritization, and project management skills.Benefits for a Senior Quantity Surveyor:
