Our client, a leading organisation within the infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Northampton, working on HS2. Key Responsibilities:Independently carry out tasks and lead a small group of commercial staff as neededPrepare and agree variation accounts for main contracts and sub-contractsMonitor cost against targets and contract progress in conjunction with other team disciplinesProvide input into change control procedures for EOT, delays, and performance adjustmentsPrepare and agree interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts, and sub-contract final accountsPrepare and issue certification and payment of sub-contractorsProvide contractual advice to management, ensuring compliance with contract and legal obligationsNegotiate and resolve any disputes and identify potential commercial risks, evaluating options for control and managementJob Requirements:Qualified with a Quantity Surveying degree or similarEnrolled in, or seeking membership of, a relevant professional institution (CICES, RICS or similar)Significant experience at Quantity Surveyor level, demonstrating skill in delivering positive commercial outcomesAbility to listen, learn, and take on new concepts while mentoring junior team membersHold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicleHold a valid CSCS cardBenefits:Comprehensive benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and growthCar allowance or car scheme (EV) availableHybrid ..... full job details .....
