Specialist Occupational Therapist (Post-16) - East London Location: East LondonWorking Pattern: On-siteContract Type: Temporary / Ad-HocPay Rate: from £35 per hour We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support a Local Authority in East London by completing specialist OT assessments for post-16 learners undergoing the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment (EHCNA) process. You will provide clear, functional, and outcome-focused EHCP advice, working closely with colleges, families, SEND teams, and wider professionals to inform high-quality decision-making. Key Responsibilities Complete statutory occupational therapy assessments for young people aged 16+ as part of the EHCNA process.Deliver timely, detailed, and measurable EHCP recommendations with a focus on functional skills, participation, and independence.Work collaboratively with colleges, families, BCIT, SEN Assessment Teams, and other multidisciplinary colleagues.Contribute to annual reviews where appropriate, offering professional insight into functional needs and reasonable adjustments.Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and uphold all safeguarding requirements.
