Support Worker - Children''s Disabilities Service
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join their Children''s Disabilities Service in King''s Lynn. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities, supporting their development and ensuring they thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (38 hours per week) Salary: From £24,500 per annum (depending on qualifications) Additional Pay: 2 sleep-ins per month, paid at £64.95 per sleep-in Shifts: 8-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis Main Responsibilities Develop and maintain positive working relationships with professionals, parents, family members, and school staff. Support children and young people in accessing developmental opportunities tailored to their needs. Safeguard the health, wellbeing, and development of children and young people, both inside and outside the home. Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive home environment, sensitive to dietary, cultural, and religious needs. Involve children and young people in decisions around daily routines and activities, empowering them to take responsibility where appropriate. Encourage and promote individual hobbies, interests, and activities. Implement management decisions positively, ensuring children and young people feel supported and empowered.
